This online catalogue is a great resource that enables students and Home Tutors to browse and choose from our available books, magazines, DVD’s and other library resources. The online library catalogue is easy to use and your requested resources will be sent to your home address.

State Schools eLibrary
The Department of Education provides a State Schools eBooks Digital Library. Encouraging your students to read as often as possible - not only to learn but also for enjoyment - is a critical element of improving reading for all students. All Capricornia SDE Primary Students are registered with their MIS username. (E.g.: aname1) You can access these eBooks on a Computer, iPad or Android Tablet.
Queensland State Schools eBooks Digital Library is a collection of eBooks and audiobooks which may be downloaded to computers and compatible mobile devices. This service, powered by OverDrive, is available to students and teachers from registered schools.

State Library of Queensland
The State Library of Queensland also provides free access to a wide range of online databases to residents of Queensland. These are particularly useful for students in upper secondary school.

Rockhampton City Council eLibrary
Rockhampton Regional Council Libraries are delighted to promote their e-content to ALL Capricornia SDE students and families. All memberships are FREE to join.
Rockhampton Regional Council Libraries provide access to excellent e-content and online databases for students and families including Britannica Smart Maths Practice, The Computer School, Road to IELTS, Transparent Language BYKI, Universal Class, Gale Health & Wellness, TumbleBooks, Britannica Library and TumbleBookCloud.
Should you wish to become and E-member, you need to complete RRC library membership form and return to the Rockhampton Regional library.
Please state that your student is in attendance at the Capricornia School of Distance Education and the library will contact us for verification of your enrolment.
If you join as a Resident member, you will need to provide photo ID or proof of address for verification on joining at the libraries in person.
