CapSDE provides online learning for students from Prep - Year 12.
Families may choose to enrol their student for a number of reasons ranging from geographical isolation/distance, home-based by choice, medical reasons, travelling and exclusion. Dependant on their category of enrolment, fees may be applicable.
Fee free enrolment
Eligibility for fee free enrolment includes:
- Living in a remote area.
- Being unable to attend a non-distance state school for more than 80 consecutive school days due to health reasons, with a medical certificate provided.
- Having an itinerant lifestyle or being excluded from certain state schools.
- Being a caregiver to a child or another person, with supporting medical documentation.
Fee paying enrolment:
- If none of the exemptions above apply to the individual, the prescribed fee for distance education provision must be paid.
