Capricornia School of Distance Education offers courses that are flexible, high quality and focused on student needs.
School based enrolments caters for students enrolled in another state school but needing to enrol with Capricornia School of Distance Education for one or more subjects. These students are enrolled by their base school.
Students who are currently enrolled full time in a state school can enrol in one or more subjects:
Please note the following:
the subject is not offered by their base school.
the subject is offered by the base school, but the student is unable to access it due to a timetable clash or other special circumstance.
students are required to attend the online timetabled lessons. Please check the line structure document to confirm this fits in with the students current timetable.
if a student has other commitments on a day a timetabled lesson is scheduled a Scheduled Lesson Exemption form is required to be completed and a plan to catch up on the missed lesson must be made.
students completing a VET certificate will be required to complete a self paced online induction and screening process before the commencement of course competencies.

Please Note: All enquiries regarding school based enrolments must come from the base school. If you are a parent please speak with your student’s base school about enrolling.
Resources will be supplied by the Capricornia School of Distance Education. It is the responsibility of the base school to return when the student has completed their studies.
