Mini-school Brings Learning to Life
Students from across Capricornia School of Distance Education recently came together for another successful Mini-school, enjoying a week filled with learning, collaboration, and connection.
Throughout the week, students participated in a variety of engaging activities tailored to their year levels and learning programs. From hands-on classroom experiences, Heritage Village excursions and Shake and Stir performances and workshops to sporting activities, First Aid Courses and practical VET assessments, Mini-school provided valuable opportunities for students to strengthen their skills and deepen their understanding through face-to-face learning.
One of the highlights of Mini-school is the chance for students to connect with their teachers and peers in person. These interactions help build friendships, develop confidence, and strengthen the sense of belonging that is so important in a distance education environment.
Whether students were exploring new concepts in the classroom, participating in STEM and aviation activities, preparing for upcoming events, or simply enjoying time with friends, Mini-school showcases the vibrant and supportive learning community that makes CapSDE unique.
We thank our students, families, home tutors, and staff for making Mini-school such a positive and rewarding experience. We look forward to welcoming everyone back for the next Mini-school later this year.
